A young man dies after being stricken by the lightning on Wednesday evening.
A young man who was on his way back to his home in block HH, rushed at it was all nice visiting his girlfriend on his way back home lightning stroked and cause the man to be in flames. There were three of them he was the one on the middle the other two fell down and he was the only one who was left standing and burning. Witness who was near the scene rushed to the near by house and ask for water to extinguish the fire. He was still alive when the fire stops burning. Paramedics came after one hour to assist but it was already too late for the young man.

He died on the scene. Residents of block GG are still shocked about what has happened, some suspect that this is witchcraft. Police said they are still investigating the case but the police man was not willing to comment on the issue because everyone was shocked about the issue.Ntebo who is the member of the residents said that what has happened will always be on their minds every time the lightning strike she has to ask herself who is next.

Let me tell about the cover of this newspaper. It was Friday morning we all gather around fro the news diary to discuss stories making headline that day. One of my colleague said he had a story but it is emotional because it is about his Friend.When the producer asked him about the name of that Friend she said it as Maggie. We then wanted to hear more about the story.It was about the girl who was raped and Kille @the Soweto Beach Party. We saw the news paper and realised that my college's interpretation of the story was in correct. Maybe it was because he did not have a story for that day who knows.We even laughed and joked about it at the news diaries.The girl in the front page is not the murdered girl. What up Mr President?

Once again I patiently and excitedly, I sat there waiting for my President to deliver his state of the nation address .I had a pen and a book ready to jot down the poetic words and the quotes that Mr. Mbeki always uses, but guess what 5minutes latter nothing poetic from the president.

Year after year I and the rest of South Africa wait for the Nation address , eave though we understand bokkerol of what our president is talking about, but the never the less we wait for him to say something. But I have to give it to Mbeki on his speech it is exactly about the real issues that these country faceses day in and day out. The economy was one of the topics he mentioned first, I mean the man went to London just to study economics I for one don’t blame him for concentrating so much on the economy of Africa even if it means him interfering in other countries affairs because he doesn’t want his neighbors affair to affect his economy. And of course he mentions’ the 2010 world cup. The crime in our country plus the leadership crisis is the Anc. He is not the only one worried about Anc earlier this month the former State President Nelson Mandela during the funeral of Adeline Tambo said the leaders must put “the wellbeing of organization above their personal and sectarian differences. I admit I was not following the president 100% but some of the ministers were fast asleep such as Jackie Selebi was dreaming about his scandals. Then Mbeki sang praises of what the country has achieved during the past five years, I agree with him we have achieved a lot with our young democracy. It is said that the earning power of our black elite has tippled in the past five years but now the great percentage of South Africans are getting poorer everyday. Poverty was one the main focus that Mbeki was talking about and the great successes of the economy, remember he is an economist.

Among promises that he made was the promise to promote the small and medium business sector. The government committed itself in increasing spending on scientific research and development, for 2munites I made a small prayer; lord please let Manto Tshabalala to hear what Mbeki was talking about Amen.
If you know Mbeki you know most he said and so on and so worth. And of course he went on we shall, we shall all we have to do is wait and see if the promises they make will come to pass.
What a Appreciating boss Mbeki is, he thanked many aspects of government and ministers. Mbeki celebrated South Africa non-permanent seat on the UN Secretary Council, I bet there was a small meeting in hell of Terreblanche, Verwoerd and Botha and the others probably saying “kyk net die kafers, hulle dink hulle is slim”.

My first accident story.

This was my the first story of accident I have done with my colluege Gopolang. We looked so professional everyone wanted to speak to us. No one died but they were seriously enjured.It happened on my home town,kasi yaka.The thing with being a young black women covering an event like this everyone will be at your back especially the police they are not co-oporative. We manage to take beautiful pictures and interwied the best people.Our editor was so impressed. I never thought I can handle such a story.

What inside my mind

Then I ask my self this question what is realy on my mind? My tertiary studies at my home town

I lived in Soshanguve for 18 years and I never knew that I will also do my tertiary qualifications here.When I was still in primary I wanted to go and study far from Soshanguve.Studing at my home town has made me realise how fortunate Iam to be a resident of Soshanguve,because in our university many of the student there are not from Soshanguve even you who is reading this message.I was suprised that I was the only one in my class who is from Soshanguve and I was quit disappointed that ,chhildren of Soshanguve don't futher their studies.I get bored sometimes because many of my class mates stay in the campus and they will talk about what happening around the campus I will just keep quiet.I enjoye studing at my home town especiall when studing journalism.
